I thought I should upload a simple 3D stitch insert brush I created, which is similar to the one you see in one Joseph Drust’s videos from Siggraph 2013 (Any chance you might upload that one, Joseph? Looks like there were some other cool things you made in there).

I had been doing it with a regular brush for quite a while, but also prefer the control and power of an actual mesh. I’ve created just a few simple types: a single stitch, a double stitch, and a stepped stitch. Each has a extreme low version (which usually works fine because they are so small) as well as a only slightly higher version.

3D stitch brush
Also 2D stitch brush if you want it.

Here you can see I used the stepped stitch on the border leather and then inflated it for an interesting effect.

Anyone know where I can get a “bow(s)” insert brush? I need a finished bow for a dress design and just don’t know enough about ZBrush to fold mesh yet, not that exact at least! lol
