Insert Mesh retaining UVs?

Hi guys,

I made a zipper insert mesh for a commercial project (just coz I feel funny using the stock versions) I modeled it in a diff app, and I had mapped it before I imported it in Z, but it doesn’t seem to retain the uv’s when I export it back out after Ive added it to something. I just wanna make sure that there isn’t a way to do so, and its not just me lol

No, UVs are not retained with Insert Meshes. The reason is UVs are mesh-dependent and every time you use an InsertMesh brush in ZBrush you are creating a new mesh.
