I’ve created some objects in 3ds max and I’ve imported them in zbrush, I’ve created a multimesh insert brush by clicking on the “create insertmultimesh” button in the brush palette…now I don’t know why the insert objects of this brush I’ve created, even if I’ve placed them in the right direction, perpendicular with the axes, are always a little rotated in the wrong direction. I’ve tryed to edit a preset brush and using my meshes and they’re oriented right, and if I create objects in xsi or maya the orientation is always right, only if I create them with 3ds max I have this problem. How can I fix it? It is very strange because the objects imported in zbrush are aligned in the center of the scene…
Help…I really want to use 3ds max to create my base meshes if I need them and not other programs.
Let’s say you insert 1. At that point(assuming auto mask is on), you can move, scale or rotate that inserted mesh. Next click to insert another ‘cements it in place’.
Yeah I know that but the problem here is that normally if you place the object perpendicular to the axes you’ll going to draw it perpendicular to the mesh surface you’re inserting it to…but for me is different, it draw it always rotated a bit…however I figured out to fix it myself, I placed a cylinder in the objects of the insert mesh and now is all aligned.
There’s this >> http://docs.pixologic.com/reference-guide/preferences/importexport/
May or may not be an issue.
Don’t know, I’ll try it! Thanks!
