Insert mesh curve brush...How do I make a second one????

I’ve created a few awesome insert mesh curve brush chains.
I paint one onto my character… but when I go to make another… the last one disappears!
I’ve been using Zbrush for years, and I’m new to the insert mesh curve brush.
How do I create another one? How does this work with subtools?

please help, I’m on a deadline, and am hoping this is my solution.
many thanks to any that help!!

EDIT - AHAH! - after reading some comments on a youtube vid on this, I found that once you CLICK on the object that you’re painting your curves onto… THEN you can create another curve. simple… awesoms… wish this was put into instructions… because it’s not.

anyone reading this with the same problem… there’s your answer.

you’re my hero.

ok but now… i’ve decorated my character to the extend I’d like with all the insertmesh curves…
but how to i get back to editing the entire character as a whole?
the main mesh and all of the inserts are darkened but the last insertmesh that i put on it is not darkened…

how do i get back to editing the entire piece? seems the only way is to ctrl+drag in the background to do a dynamesh…
but this is not what i want to do.

now here’s a chance for you to be my hero!

Clear your mask.

Tool-Masking-Clear
or
ctrl+drag in the background once, to re-dynamesh you must ctrl+drag twice

that’s what i thought… because it looked like the meshinsert curve chain was the only thing unmasked… and i guess it is to a certain extent… but that wasn’t the issue…

I just had to uncheck curve mode in the stroke’s curve menu option

thnx tho.

EDIT: ctrl+dragging on the background solves the problem
