I thought I found the problem but obviously was wrong.
It seems like the “weld” function does not work for my insert-tri-part-curves any more.
I noticed when I hit auto group.

I found out that this only happens with open geometry like planes.
If I generate Fibermesh with Profile set to 2 I get similar looking results. Even though the geometry is welded.
