Hi,
since I’m rather new to all of this and I want to learn things properly and without skipping anything important, I want to learn about UV mapping. I know some of it, especially UV master in ZBrush, but I have further questions.
For example, is the utilization of the UV master enough to make good UV maps for game characters? I’ve seen a lot of people shifting from ZBrush to Maya, as if ZBrush has to be supplemented with another program in regards to creating good UV’s.
I’ve found this series of tutorials which I think is very good, but I’m wondering is this all it takes to make good UV’s.
I am also interested in what your typical workflow of creating UV’s is, specifically for characters that are to be exported into game engines.
