Hi Pimeto. No problem. Perhaps you could start your own thread on the HDRLabs forum or on another forum related to sIBL and ask related questions there.
thanks Lee
great results with your renders, Lee!
Congrats!
I would definitely try Arnold if it was possible with Maya, although I’m fine with Mental Ray.

How is it that this never made top row? This is mind blowing work that kills anything I’ve seen here and it gets over looked. Odd.
Most likely because despite the end result the origins are from scan data…I reckon that has a lot to do with it. But… I could be wrong of course.
:qu:
Cheers,
J
Perhaps. But the amount of corrections and clean up etc etc done in zbrush is just as important. Scan data wont get you all the way there imo…
Of course. Still, many purists here may view it as a significant short cut nonetheless.

No doubt. IMO, It’s about as much a short cut as using full symmetry on models from start to finish. And yes scan data needs oodles of work, you still need to be a great artist with a keen eye, as these demonstrate.
Still love those lighting models as much as when I first saw this.
Sorry for bumping that one up and asking stupid questions, but has anybody an idea where to download that skin shader comb for Arni?
Many, many thanks.
