I want to paint texture in projection master on quite simple box imported form 3dsmax. I uvwrapped it in max and imported though GOZ. Now whe I start painting in projection master one side and come back to draw mode it show my painted texture on all sides like uvmap didn’t exist.
Do you have “Double Sided” uncheked in Projection Master dialog.
yes it’s unchecked… and what’s funny is that whatever I paint on one face it show up on all faces not just back side one.
It sounds like there is something wrong with your UV map. Like every face of the cube is just plied up on top of each other. Check your UV map in ZBrush by going to Tool > Texture Map and click ‘New From UV Map’ and see if it’s still the same as it was in Max. It seems that ZBrush doesn’t like having the uv islands right on the edge of the map and that could cause problems. In the cube example below, I did the UVs in Blender. Imported the cube into ZBrush and created a new texture then used Projection Master to paint it without any problems. As far as GoZ and Max goes, I don’t use either, so I can’t help you there.
By the way, if you still don’t have the checker maps for UV Master plugin, I have them posted here. I noticed that you were looking for them.
