Importing Normal Maps created in Maya via Transfer Maps

I am trying to create a workflow where I create Normal Maps in Maya using Transfer Maps and edit / detail the map in zbrush. I can import the low res model with UVs and the normal map into Zbrush. I cannot figure out how to connect the map to the model so that it is ready to edit in z space. I am using Zbrush 4R3.

Zbrush does not allow you to apply normal maps as anything other than diffuse textures, and I wouldn’t recommend trying to do it that way. A better workflow would be to try and edit the highpoly itself instead, and then rebake the map.
