I have recently switched to 4r5 from 4r3 as I like to keep my zbrush in line with where I work. I have updated some of the topology in my basemeshes and I am getting a consistent issue with the import command. When I import the new basemesh I am not getting the “topology has changed” warning, even though it has. Instead the new mesh replaces the old version but the Y and Z positions have changed and the reprojection does not happen meaning I don’t get the extra sculpt levels applied to the new topology. For example one model I have the x,y,z goes from 0,0.0074,-0.0391 to 0,-1.9989,-0.1321.
The weird thing is both versions of the basemesh line up perfectly in Maya. The issue is happening on 3 models, but is not happening in 4r3. I use .obj files normally, but I have tried .ma and also making changes via goZ all with the same results.
Anyone got any ideas?
