Importing model from Maya to ZBrush Troubles.

Hey guys I was hoping you may be able to help me with a problem I’ve been having?

I modeled an armband in Maya and exported it as an obj to ZBrush at which point a good portion of my model seems to disappear, the image is attached to this post.

If I flip the normals in ZBrush then it appears to be fine but I can’t export it back to Maya and back to ZBrush.

I think it may have something to do with my export settings in Maya but I’ve tried everything I can think of, if anyone has any suggestions they would be much appreciated.

Not sure why it’s coming in this way, but something you can do in ZB is go Display>Double to turn on double-sided mode. That way you can export it back out the same way it came out of Maya, and you can still see the surface properly when you’re sculpting in ZB.

It worked :slight_smile: Thanks for the help. Is this going to cause any problems later on when I try to pull the Normal Map?
