I’ve created text in Maya and saved as an .obj- when I import into ZBrush 3.2 Mac, I get the warning: This mesh contains nonstandard polygon(more than 4 sides), and a choice of making it Quads and Triangles, or Symmetrical Triangles only. in both cases, the text comes in distorted, with outer edges ripped apart with triangle shapes pointing towards center of each letter- center areas of compound “a & o” letters also filled in. Any workarounds to this? I’m trying to make a textured wood sign w/ raised letters.
