I have a very detailed 8196x texture, this res is needed. I would like to convert the bitmap to polypaint directly into HD Geometry. Just dividing old school to 1.7m polys and converting texture to polypaint losses a ton of detail. I was wondering if there is anyway import directly the texture to polypaint colors into the HD Channel? I tried, but the no UWS error comes up. It is due yesterday as always:D. I am very familiar with spoltlight but that will take a full day and lose my careful uvw line ups.
I don’t know, but I know 1.7 Million isn’t enough for the detail your image has that your trying to put there. You might need 6 Mil or more.
