Importing Geo As A Morph Target...?

Is it possible to import an exact copy of a tool with one that has been sculpted and have it import as a morph target, so when I go to Morph Target/Switch it switches back and forth between the two copies?

So long as the topology is the same you can do that. Simply store a morph target first:

  1. Select the tool.
  2. Go to lowest subdivision level.
  3. Store a morph target.
  4. Import the copy.
  5. Switch the morph target.

This gives you the tool geometry at (1) with the imported geometry stored. Switching again will give you the imported geometry.
