importing .dwg files

How do you import .dwg files (AutoCAD or Solidworks) into ZBrush? Thanks

easy, you use something else to convert it to a .obj or .fbx :stuck_out_tongue:

You can also try to use a goZ compatible program.

Great, so you’ve done this before? May I ask which software to use. I’ll check out the goZ
too. Thanks

Hi,

Cinema 4D (already the ‘Prime’ version) has a DWG import function and there is also a GoZ Plugin available for C4D.

If you don’t want to spend money for an additional 3D program then you could try Bable3D, a online 3D file translation company.

CU and good luck.

This looks very helpful. I appreciate your time

This works very good for me, simple. The free account offers 100mb per month, I downloaded a chair leg with 2mb. Very good

You’re welcome
Glad to help you.
