Importing Displacement Results in Jaggyness

Hey guys,
I’m trying to apply a displacement map on a mesh in ZBrush and I always get weird results.
If I’m importing a regular 8 bit BMP (or 16 bit tif) image I get stepping / jaggyness all over and if I import a 32 bit map it does not recognize it as 32 bit.
