importing a tif file

Is there aby way to do this??? I have loads of tif files and loads of objects that I need to import into zbrush and I really dont want to have to save out .psd versions of all the textures. is there a plug-in or an ootion to import tif files???

Unfortunately, there are a great many variants to the TIFF format, and ZBrush does not support them all. If you can’t import it as it is, then there’s no choice but to convert the file using Photoshop anyway.

It is generally recommended to import using the PSD format. This even applies to displacement maps, unless those maps were exported by ZBrush and have not been re-saved using any other software.

Ahhh, ok, so that will expain why it can create tif files and import them…

God damn it! Why are there so many bloody formats within formats!

I have gone through all the files and batch converted them to jpegs (doesnt matter about quality as I have tif versions for rendering)

Thanks
