imported UV maps, Softimage and ZB4

Hello,

Has Zbrush 4 ever developed the capability to texture imported objects which have more than one UV map? It seems from various options such as ‘UV groups’ and ‘auto groups with UV’, that would be the case. But still no love with my imported object from Softimage.

I have 2 clusters on this object, each of which has its own UV map.

Does anyone have information on texturing objects coming from Softimage, and the issue of more than one UV map?

are they physically connected or can they be split into subtools?

you could always texture each one separately exporting the map each time, that would give you 2 different maps if you can’t split them into subtools.

not an XSI user though :confused:

They’re physically connected, and the point is to be able to texture across the model so there are no seams visible on the object.
