Hi Everyone,
menu so I can continue working on it… it gets offset as you can see in the
picture below:

Just to check to make sure the model is not being offset when I import it into
zbrush I tried adding it as a subtool:

As you can see it’s perfectly fine and sitting in the right place just like it
originally was in maya.

NOTE: This is just a simple test to see if I can combine 2 separate retopo
models into one. Combining them was easy I just exported them as obj files to
maya to combine them there.
What I actually want to do later is use this method to retopo a character with
a long skirt on so that I can retopo the whole body and the skirt as 2
separate retopo models and then later combine them into one so I can make it
all one seamless mesh with detials of the original sculpt projected on it.
Is there a way to fix the offset problem with the retopo model I imported? Or
is there a better way I should be doing this?
I’m using Zbrush 4 R5. That’s what the school where I’m teaching has installed so I’ve got to get it working for this version.
