Imported OBjs from Max 2009

Im having alot of problems Importing OBJs from max 2009.

For one all my objs get scaled down progressivly, if i try to use any objs from max as topology when i try to edit i notice alot of verts that are supposed to be welded together arent. also have alot of trouble in some areas getting the zspheres to snap in the mesh.

anyone has a clue on how to solve this?

in the export settings, change the settings to Zbrush.

then turn off everything except texture coordinates. Then save that as your Zbrush default file.

Before exporting always perform a reset Xform. (make sure you save before this as you can’t undo this opperation).

That should get you to where you want to be.

Do you have an pictures of the problems with the retopo? Is the area very thin? behind the ears, in the nose, etc?

Also, what are you settings in the preferences>import/export?
