Imported figure questions

Hi,

I’ve imported a figure with UV’s so I can use the Polygroups option to turn off areas of the model that I don’t want affected by my work… one issue I find very perplexing is that I really want to figure out if there is a way to “grab” a sub object (s) as in an eyeball along with the lashes panels and move them wholly without distortion. Seems there is no way to zoom in, hilight a sub object (and with symmetry on auto select it’s mirror) and just move them up or down or what ever without getting the back of the eyeball look like silly putty. Yes, perplexing is the right word here and I’m plexed out! lol

Is there a tutorial to help me understand how to accomplish this?? I actually started researching other modeling apps that would allow for importing uv’s to give me control in turning off body parts and give me a “selection” option to completely select a sub object (:qu: child object I guess :qu:) and just move it without distortion but went into sticker shock looking around. I own Hexagon but can’t see a way to do that in that program. I LOVE ZBrush but I get so lost figuring things out from time to time…

Sorry if this seems like a stupid question.

Thanks!

Richard
