When I import OBJ file, this is what I get. How should I solve it?
Hello @John_Tsai ,
Are you attempting to update another version of this mesh by importing this one into it?
If this is the case and the point order (not just the topology) has changed in any way, you might see results like this. Programs have a lot of sneaky ways of changing the point order on meshes. Some programs have “optimization” features enabled by default in the import/export preferences for the format that will reorganize the point order.
If you’re not specifically trying to update an active mesh, for instance to update the UVs, please make sure to select the default polymesh 3D star primitive from the Tool menu and make it active before you import the mesh. This is because it has zero values in the Tool> Export menu, and you can be assured of a clean slate.
Does the mesh still come into the program that way if you import in this manner? In this case I would suspect a problem with the geometry or UVs in that file. If your problem is not explained by the above and you would like us to take a look at the file for issues, please contact ZBrush Support.
Thank you!
Here is the OBJ file that you can check the detail. My Zbrush version is 2022.0.1
Thank you

I recognized the name A2 from Nier:Automata so thought I’d take a look. Import fails for me in 2022.0.7. Says there are lots of disconnected points. However no problem viewing in MS Viewer or importing into a 3D printer slicer (e.g. Super Slicer). Given that I imported and exported from Blender. Now works with Zbrush. File attached. Have fun.

Thank you. I will give a try with blender the way you did next time.
