Import issue

I am having an issue importing a model with UVs.
This image shows how my external texture lines up on the flattened model but when it is unflattened the texture is not mapped properly anymore. (see image)
What is wrong here? Thank you.

you have stretching in your UV’s, hence the stretching when the map is applied to the mesh.

thank you goast666! I have been bashing my brains out trying to figure out what I did wrong. I forgot that I changed the model some and never remapped the UVs
