Import Blender OBJs into Zbrush - Resolved

Hey everyone,

I’ve created a few base meshes in blender, and have exported them as OBJs.
When I import the file into zbrush, some of the faces are missing…

How can I export exactly what I see in blender, into zbrush without any loss?
Using Blender 2.5 and Zbrush 4r2b.

Will happily post screenshots, if that is at all helpful.

Thanks in advance!
Corey

Here are some screenshots, showing the original in blender, then the import in zbrush
Please help!

I’m no expert, but it looks to me like a normals problem. Try turning on “double” in display properties of the tool pallet.

Corey talk to Michalis, he uses Blender with ZBrush extensively, in the mean time try exporting your file from Blender as a .Obj if you haven’t already, that should do the trick, unless that what you did and it didn’t…
Anyhow Michalis knows this stuff.

voodoodad - You have saved my life, yet again… The “double” feature did the trick! I cant tell you how frustrating my afternoon has been… I should have just posted this thread earlier lol.
If you are ever in the ATX, beers are on me!!!
