IMM curve rotation?

I was wondering if it was possible to change the angle/orientation of a curve stroke in Zbrush? I created this feather IMM curve brush:

and there is a lot of things I can adjust with all the settings, but I can’t find a way to orient it with something similar to the line angle value in Max:

Thanks in advance!

Have you tried Transform:Rotate?

Transform/rotate would actually rotate the entire object based on the transpose widget. I was more looking for a rotation along the curve axis as shown in the animated gif above.

Stroke pallette. Lock start, drag on your curve.

Thanks for the help Doug. What you are suggesting though is changing the curve itself. But let’s say that I am happy with it and that I just want to orient the feather along its curve axis. I wonder if there is any method to do that other than importing a new rotated meshinsert.
I guess not…

Mesh from brush maybe

Hi,

I tried a lot to find a solution for your problem. Thought changing twist or spin in the brush pallet would do the trick.
No, they don’t. I haven’t foud something at least. While depth i.e. is updating, those seems to be ignored.
Could have been a nice feature though.

Rotating around curve axis? So that the feather is deforming around the curve? I guess not. Just drawing a transmission line at curve and do a simple rotation is the only simple idea I got, sorry. Good luck though. Sometimes there are hidden features just a few knows

For anyone looking for an answer after 2020 and found this thread, it is possible to do this in zbrush now.

drag the curve a bit, then press and hold ctrl while still dragging, and the curve within the radius of the brush will rotate like op wanted.
