Roland Kaiser: Glad you appreciate!

Sawgittarius: Thanks!

remcv8: Thank you. I have been using Zbrush in some unique ways recently for a project. Will post those soon

michalis: Thank you! I am a big fan of your work and processes

Tartan: I am glad you like the style. This is the style where I pretty much paintover the whole thing. I am working on another style too, where the paintover is more discreet. Will post some of those too, soon.

0010 - Athlas Cards
Here I decided to use Zbrush for the decoration and layout for cards, for a tabletop boardgame called Athlas, by Golden egg games.
All decoration and layout elements of the card were sculpted and rendered in ZBrush. PS was used for placement and color corrections.

The Atlas card is really interesting! Can you show the ZBrush models before rendering? (just curious!)

Totyo: Thanks! Sure, here are the main unpainted, unrendered models:

Very nice, thank you! :)i

Very nice work and for sure not ZBC main stream.
Makes your work outstanding.
Thanks for sharing!

Knacki: Thanks. I believe Zbrush is a very creative tool for a wide spectrum of visual applications. I use it as my primary tool, not only in 3D modeling and miniature making, but in all the projects I undertake, from sketching concepts to illustrating childrens’ books.

0011 - Forsaken Dragon
The dragonian creature and all of the card decorative elements and layout are thumbnailed, sketched, sculpted and rendered in Zbrush.
The dragon is a Zbrush composite render and then it has been painted to some degree in PS.

… and here are the concepts for the Minireen alien race. ZB was used on those, for qucik visualization and establishing the main shapes for drawing-over.
I have found that using ZB for those initial steps greatly accelerates visual development and most importantly: it breaks my muscle-memory drawing cycles, by letting me discover and quickly experiment with shapes that are unique to my drawing vocabulary.
