I’m using an imagecube with reference textures loaded on to it. I was able to create my base shape using zspheres and I’ve created a base mesh and added it as a subtool. I still want to use the imagecube to complete my model, however my base mesh is inside the imagecube and I’m unable to do anything with my base mesh unless I hide my imagecube. But I still need to use the imagecube for reference. Can someone please tell me what I missed?
This appears to the the along the same lines as http://www.zbrushcentral.com/showthread.php?168294-Move-Brushes-not-working-inside-Image-Plane-Cube&p=949164&viewfull=1#post949164. I can use some brushes to modify the base mesh, but not the move brush and a few other ones.
I don’t recall having this problem with ZBrush 3.5. I’m using ZBrush 4R4 on a Win7 system.
Please, don’t tell me about the grid plane way of doing things that was just introduced. I know about it and I’ve used it for a model, but I want to use the imagecube. I am also aware of the View plug-in, which was also recently introduced, but I do not want to use that for this project either.
Thanks for your help with this matter,
