Hi. Is there an option to add a image to the background to use as a sculpting reference, just like “Image Plane”, using LightBox ?
Thanks
Nevermind! “Image Plane” still works with Zbrush4.
it does??? you installed the Z3 image plane plugin in Z4?
Yes, it does. I just put the plugin inside the plugins folder, restarted Z4, loaded the ztool that I was working on, clicked on the Texture Menu, and the ImagePlane option was there, and it is working.
Well, it was working. I was able to sculpt seeing the image for a visual reference without no problem, but now, I can not sculpt anymore.
Something happened and I don’t know what.
The focus is not under the mouse anymore and the Frame button does not frame the model right anymore also, when I use this imageplane plugin.
Do you have perspective on?
Yes, I had. It is working again. Thanks.
I did the same thing (put the previous Image Plane plug-in into the Z4 Plugs). I was desperate and still can’t figure out quite how to use Spotlight for that purpose; I’m very new to this. It does, indeed, work and works best if you load the Tool first. If the Tool vanishes, hit F; that’s the only glitch I’ve noticed and it has happened just once.

P.S.
Worth noting: if you do download Z3’s Image Plane for use in Z4, pay attention when you save the tool you’re modeling. Make certain you save it to your Tool Folder, where ever you save your Tools, and not the last folder opened, i.e. the folder where your reference image resides.
