every tutorial i see tells me i have to use photoshop to get reference heads and such on the image planes , i don’t have photoshop yet. i just want to get an image on image plane or image cube. so i can have reference there to sculpt from. its so close but yet so far. i think too many tutorials are confusing me. i’m very new to zbrush. would also like to meet new zbrush friends to chat with.
you don’t have to use photoshop to work with a .psd file. Most people are just more comfortable with it.
you can use Zbrush to open and work with the .psd file that comes with the imagePlaneX tool.
You could also use any other image editing software that can open up a .psd as well.
