Image Plane Problems

Hi All,

I am trying to map a head texture onto a human head mesh using Image Plane to project it and manipulate it as in the video link I have pasted below.

Texturing with Photoreference in ZBrush

I’m using Projection Master as part of the process and I already have a UV Map on the mesh.

I’ve done this tutorial back when it first was released and it worked perfectly then. But I have not tried it with the latest versions of ZBrush.

For some reason the texture won’t wrap onto the mesh and the canvas either goes empty or it just projects behind the mesh.

Anything that I could be missing? Or has ZBrush changed and does things different than when the above tutorial was made?

Do you have to do this kind of work in Spotlight now? Using the Nudge Tool? etc…

Hope to hear back soon,

Adam

I seem to have located where the source of the problem is.

The Image Plane shows itself when I rotate it. I just need to know how to move it in front of the mesh. But how to do that in Projection Master is the question.

The Image Plane is positioned in the middle of mesh…so some of image is showing on the mesh. So somehow I need to be able to make the Image Plane come forward towards the screen so that the mesh is fully wrapped with the image.

Any help would be great:)
