Hello, I got Zbrush today and I started modeling my mesh (a torso) I used zspheres and then converted them so that I could mold the mesh around. Now I want to add legs and a head, how do I add more zspheres to give me more area to sculpt? There’s probably a really easy answer to this…but I have no clue, please help a newbie out!
Well, there is no simple way to do it and keep the modeling details you got now.
So, try doing this.
Make your legs with Zspheres, convert them to mesh and then append them to your body tool.
Then you can do a couple of things.
- You can merge the both tools into one and hit remesh. After that try to reproject the details from the torso to the new obj… It might get messy…
To reproject correctly you need the new mesh to be exact shape as the mesh you get the details from. So… - After you merge the body and the legs into one obj, do a retopology of that mesh and get the details on the new mesh…
I hope that you understand my bad english and i help you
