I'm a bit confused about zsketch?

hello everyone,

After I’ve seen Ryan Kingslien’s tutorial about ZSketch modelling.
I was confused by him quite much.

I saw him spent lot time to locate every muscles by zsketch very carefully. But, after he turns it into adaptive mesh, he just flattern all the muscles he just created. and then ,the modelling process turns back to the old method used in R3. a bit inflate, tweak…

I can see zsketch is great in binding and posing. but as a new modelling method. could it really replace the old one?

any one can help me ?

It is just another option for quickly blocking out form. You can spend as much or as little time in sketch mode as you want, working out a highly accurate sketch, or simply knocking out a rough form and relying on traditional sculpting to refine the figure.

For my work preferences, spending more than a minute in Zsketch mode is a waste of time for me, but styles differ, and it accommodates different ways of working.

There is no right way, just what works for you.
