Iconized

Hey all,
I’m just getting started with Zbrush again after taking an initial gander at it back with Version 1. I was going through some of the basic tutorials, and wanted to iconize my menu items, but the option isn’t showing up in the preferences palette. I went into Preferences>Interface, but its not listed. Any ideas on how to get it back or make it happen? Thanks.

It’s no longer available. This is due to the fact that you can now create your own menus. Custom menus all have an icon that says “User”, so allowing the interface to have an iconized option would result in several identical-looking menus in your list.

Please aurick ? How to make the brushes to be as text instead of icones. I know I’m a dumb but … hey !
I don’t even know how to customize as user interface … Very dumb

Yes I’d like to have this old stuff :

Interface:Iconized: When on, palettes will be shown with icons across the top of the workspace. When off, the palettes will be represented by text, which takes up less vertical space.

But How I can’t find any info about it now

Michel,

As mentioned above the iconized option is no longer available. It’s not possible to alter the brush icons.

Definitely ??? No way to overwrite this ?

Holly Zmolly !!!

Too bad then !!

If you really want an alternative to the Brush icons you could record a macro for each brush - start recording, select the brush, stop recording - then save each macro with the name of the brush. You could then move the macro buttons to wherever you wanted on the UI, creating a custom menu for them if you wanted. See here for more info:
