i want to make a boat

hi, im new and i want to know if anyone can tell me how to make a personal watercraft in zbrush, i am haveing a hard time making anything in zbrush. it is very nonintuitive and the tutorioals dont seem to do it for me. where can i go for help to make a boat?

Hya Dragon!

I want to do that as well, make a boat I mean, in my case a sailboat.
If I were you I would try working with Zspheres first to make a basic shape.
Have you tried them at all? If not I recommend a couple of things:
First try a different set of tutorials like these:

That is the fourth one, specifically about Zspheres, after you learn this (its the best place to start, or it was for me any way) go to the other tutorials he made, they are all fantastic.

I found the Zbrush/Pixologic tutorials confusing at first too, I think the reason for that is that Zbrush is NOT like other programs, it requires you to re-think a few things and you will see themm in the tutorials I just gave you. Once you understand those the others will start to make MUCH more sense.

One other thing:
Ask tons of questions, it works great here and is the best way to understand things like why there is an edit button and other strange esoteric things that cause loss of sleep.

Another great method is using shadowbox. There are several videos on it
in this next link as well as vids for clip brushes and numerous other usefull
goodies.

Last but not least, is a source of great inspiration and a phenomenal
demonstration of the modeling power of zbrush. I’ve watched it numerous
times and kept clicking on pause to to see all the lil things he did.
