Hi.
For the last month i’ve made quite a few characters, having spent alot of time with ZBrush. Now one thing, i personally think that i’ve no knowledge in at all (which basically is killing my final render pics) is Posing.
Posing the character, how do i do that ?
I know the “mark part of the character, click rotate, set up the rotation axis,win”-method. Bot it doesn’t work for me i must be doing something wrong heh
When i, for instance, mark an arm and start rotating it, it breaks my mesh. Litterally. It is tearing the mesh appart, leaving a stretched, ugly, gaping messed up shoulder, when i start turning the arm.
To give you an idea of what i mean, it’s like the contrast between posing in Maya with or without a smooth rig -> My model turns out as the non-smooth one, making it look like … yeah you know …
Please, give me some accurate advice, direct me to an Epic tutorial, link me a movie, call me and explain or w/e.!
I just really need your help hehe - thanks alot in advance . ^^
Still lots of work needs to be done. Anyways, here i’ve showed my steps at posing, and actually, i should tell you the final result is the best one i’ve had yet
According to the torn appart mesh. Correct me if i’m using all the wrong tools, if i’m taking a wrong approach etc. Here goes:
