i have no idea what i pressed and i dont know how to fix it. attached is a screen shot of the tool i was working on. i clicked some key combo and now its solid grey and restarting it and reloading the tool doesnt fix it. please help me
Check the render palette. Odds are good that you have Flat turned on, which disables material and shadow effects. If you turn Preview on it will most likely return to normal.
just checked. i switched flatten on, and it makes the whole screen grey, not just the model. preview is on and it still looks incomprehensible
nothing in visibility is changing anything either
Try to fill the tool with another material. Switch on “M” for material and go to Color menu. Click on Fill object.
Hope that solves it.
