I need shorts please!!

:qu: Greetings.

I have a small issue at hand. I’m fine tuning a model of a character (muscular gladiator) I have built. I am in need of sculpting a pair of shorts for this character guy. I’ve tried using the sculpting brush, but it’s just too bulky. Looks like he’s wearing a pair of shorts made of bread dough. I know there is a way to gently ease out the geometry cleanly and evenly, it’s just that I don’t recall how or what tool is used to do this. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance.

Either use the layer brush or mask off the area with freehand mask, then invert and use the ‘size’ deformation slider

Another easy way is to hide the polys you dont want. Size then hit the edge loop button.
