Hi everybody, i need some help with a problem that i have with 3D-Projection, i want to paint my 3d mesh. using a reference
image. like the one in the ZBrushNextStep video.
Thanks for your repply
Still I cant get what Im looking to do! this is really frustrating for me, cuz as I see the “zbrushnextstep” video there is no way for me to acchive or even do with the program what is shown on the 3d projection part (the texturing of a head with reference photos from aside and front).
Does anyone know how to use this new feature?
Thanks!
Use projection master.
A: Make sure you have the UV’s setup and apply texture/Bitmap
- Drop the mesh with Projection master
- Export the sciene as a image
- Paint in Photoshop
- import the updated sciene
- Pickup projection master.
And there you have colour ext. in your texture. - Flip texture in V and export the texture, for Max/Maya/Lightwave
Since you cited the clip from the preview vid for Z3, check out this link:

It’s the example from that same video =]
Hey thanks very much for you help my friends.
Hey this is an awsome method! I was using it fine and then suddenly it decided not to work. I was painting then decided to start again and then it didn’t want to paint on the model.
has anyone else encountered this?
