I need help cutting limbs off model. I would use a band and saw ,cant find 1. help?

Hello all.

Im trying to remove the limbs from my model. I plan to replace them with zshpere armatures. I am unsure as how to go about removing the limbs. Im all out of rubber bands and the critter is too quick to capture and hold down.

not sure how to remove the tapering flap. Any suggestions for better limb removal?

So, I have found that i can do this with a planar cut brush and a smooth. but it is tedious. I suppose i could mask and delete hidden, use clay brush somewhat patch the hole… not sure if this is wise.
