I can’t figure out what I’m doing wrong.
I thought that if you drew an object on the screen and then drew another object that there was a way to move the new object further into or out of the canvas so it either went behind or in front of the first object without having to change size (i.e. the alt click drag technique). It’s like I lost my mind. Using the move tool doesn’t seem to work since it just seems to work to move or scale in the xy direction and not straight back or forward in the z direction.
I know I can move stuff on a layer but I thought you could do this without going to the extreme of creating a new layer.
