Try making your male figure a polymesh before you enable UVs and polypaint.

The way to get multiple matcaps is to fill the desired geometry with the matcap. Make sure MRGB is active then fill. The fill function is in the color pallet.

thanks for the help, the matcap did work thanks but making the figure into polymesh them enable and polypainting did not work the model disapear…:confused: any more tips? thanks for your help

According to your images provided, you went from Enable UV to Col>Txr and missed the part where you give it a UV map, hit GUVTiles or AUVTiles first, then UV Check to make sure it’s on and working, then Col>Txr.
