I have finally found a use for the IPad!!

I pretty much just lurk this forum, as you can see this is my first post. I just felt the need to share this with you all. Well, iPad owners out there in Zbrushland I have found a real use for your pretty little tablet.

The other day I dropped and broke my tablet and pen all in one shot…don’t ask me how but, it happened. In the middle of my salty tears and lack of tablet replacement It came to me…I wonder if there is a tablet app for the iPad? To my pleasant surprise there was. Touchpad for the iPad is the app and it rules! It’s 3.99, simple to connect and runs like a dream. Add the Pogo stylus to the mix and you’re ready to rock.

It doesn’t seem to have pressure sensitivity which sucks, but it makes up for it by having a full virtual keyboard. It takes a little to get used to it, but once you find your flow you will see the magic…And it’s grand.

I’ll leave you with this…I hooked up my pc to my 50 inch HDTV and sculpted with full functionality while laying in bed drinking a beer. Is that worth 3.99? :smiley:

Let me get this straight… So you had an iPad abandoned somewhere in your house, lets say between trash and Spike’s food bowl, and now that you managed to broke both your tablet and your stylus at the same time in a very unlikely way you found use for the iPad? a $499 iPad?

haha sorry this sounds kinda funny… in a bad way. I feel sorry for your loss.

I’m so waiting for the Ipad or anything comparable to have pressure sensitivity and run ZBrush. I wouldn’t even think twice about buying it. Unfortunately that may never happen :frowning:

Lol I apologize for not being more specific. By “use” I mean use with zbrush. I figured since this is Zbrush Central people would get that…I guess not.

Yes, I use my iPad daily for many other reasons just didn’t find one for zbrush until now.

Since you were curious I knocked my tablet off the table and the pen was on it. The nib broke off in the pen and the tablet cracked. :frowning:

any tablet pc with penabled technology can do it and it will have pressure sensativity
