I have and use 3DS Max 2017.
I used to have 4R7, and GoZ worked for 3DS Max 2017.
I’ve since upgraded to 4R8 and now GoZ doesn’t work.
And when in 4R8, if I Click on GoZ I get “Unable to Open File” dialog saying;
“! C:/users/Public/Pixologic/GoZbrush/Scripts/GoZ_ExportFromZbrush”
If I go to Preferences -> GoZ, Force Reinstall doesn’t show any GoZ enabled applications…
Please, how can I install GoZ so that it works with 4R8 and 3DS Max 2017 ?

Hi,
I solved it by digging into the Program Files.
If you go to where ZR8 is installed, find the GoZ_for_ZBrush_Installer_WIN.exe (it’ll be in the “Troubleshoot Help” folder).
Also look in the GoZ_Manual_Install.pdf which is in the “C:\Program Files\Pixologic\ZBrush 4R8\Documentation\plugins” directory).
“3D Studio Max:• First, make sure that 3D Studio Max is not running before continuing.
• Click Start > Computer and browse to the 3D Studio Max application folder. (For example, the default location for the 3D
Studio Max 2011 application folder is “C:\Program Files\Autodesk\3ds Max 2011”.)
• Copy the file “C:\Users\Public\Pixologic\GoZApps\Max\Macro_GoZ.ms” into the 3D Studio Max application’s “Scripts\Startup”
sub-folder.
• Now launch 3D Studio Max. At startup, it will automatically install a new GoZ menu in Max.”
