I am having problem with Disp map

Hello bro!
I have no problem with Polymesh3D when i convert it reads PMD3D(etc).
But the real thing is that which i do not want is when i convert an object in Polymesh3D.
My disp map and normal map buttons become disable.Any suggestions?
I am using Zbrush 3.5 R3
My system Dual core(4.4Ghz)(2GB Ram)(WinXp sp2 64bit)(Nvidia 8400 GS 512mb) :frowning:

the only things that need to be converted into a PM3D are the default meshes in Zbrush that have the “initialize” option in the tool panel.

They are just basic primitives that can’t be sculpted on.

If you’re working on a different mesh (i.e. something imported) then once you convert it into a PM3D you’re throwing anyway any UV information. There isn’t any reason to every convert that type of mesh into a polymesh3D.

If you want to use any kind of maps you need to give your mesh UVs.
This is under tool>UV map, pick a type of uvs and then you should be able to use map types.
