Mr.Monster: Thank you!

Displaced: Actually, the Father Christmases come from Finland. Watch this irrefutable proof:

Hilarious! Thanks for links!

Vidar,

Since learning zbrush its been just that a big O’l learning process which isn’t always fun. Just wanted to say BIG THANKS for letting me have some fun messing with your human base mesh, baseman. See my results I came up with here: http://www.zbrushcentral.com/zbc/showthread.php?p=421571#post421571

You described the uses for your mesh on your front page well. Really enjoy your model you whipped out using it, you cranked out the accessories fast and they are sweet! Hopefully I’ll become as astute with this program as yourself… soon I hope hehe. (love to see a tutorial on how you did your accessories so fast).

thanks… and good work brother

hi can someone put the link again? the download link for the .ztl is not working :S thanks

Hi Vidar, looks very useful your mesh looking at the obj. However the ztl link is dead, could you reupload it somewhere. Thanks a lot!

Thanks for the mesh, Vidar! i’m new here but i couldn’t let this share pass. Will be of great use!

Thanks for sharing these meshes Vidar. They look very nicely designed. I just might use the two lowest resolution versions for my next creation

Oh yea, and the character you posted on pages 2 and 3 of this thread is fantastic too.

thanks for the obj. The ztl is however suspended and unable to download. thanks!

Got the obj but unable to downloead the ztool. Realy appreciate you sharing - I plan to do the same with a Werewolf mesh i have when i get around to retoping it.
Cheers dude - Simon

great sculp, very nice details and equipment, gets the point .

how much polys are you dealing with so far?

my running problem is that my cpu is running so bad low after a while with too much poly load! : /

how do you deal with such issues?

thanks!

Thank you very much. Its a very clean model.

Try using HD geometry. I got a new 8 core machine and was pissed when I couldn’t divide any higher than my old machine. I was wondering how everyone else was getting to 1 billion polygons. HD geometry is the trick. Try and find a guide to using it.

:DHey! … Thanks for your generosity

I was just wonder, when you make your leather straps and belts/etc, do you do a mesh extract, and then refine the shape/add the buckels/etc?

Whenever I do a mesh extract like that it seems the pixels become very jagged (even when I have a high active poly count on the mesh im extracting from.

Anways, nice work as always, I’d love to see where this character is going, and thanks a lot for the really useful base mesh!

Hey, i used your base mesh (just the head) to do this speed, hope u like it
Great sculpt btw.

can you do a woman for us please?

the model is coming along great and looking forward to updates…thank you for the basemesh, i hope I can use it. Take care

Thanks a lot for sharing
