I guess everyone who posts on zbcentral needs a hulk, so this is mine. He’s still W.I.P. but he’s almost there. Just trying to get a quick critique before i finalize him.
oh, btw. this is definately inspired by one of Keown’s amazing hulk sketches.
I think he looks great. Maybe add a few veins?
thanks digi for the input. yeah, veins and pores and wrinkles and the final level of bump are the last thing. i just wanted to check if there were any proportional, conceptual, or anatomical things that needed some attention. its hard for me to grab everything when im in the thick of design so i like to get an outside perspective… that being said… wow, zbrush, i guess is not the place to get critiqued anymore.
i mean i really appreciate the input digi… i was just hoping id get a few more critiques out of 100 views. lol
ah well… ill take what i can get.
As far as “proportional, conceptual, or anatomical” I feel that you cant really do any more,
I would say move on to the “veins and pores and wrinkles” but also add tears to the clothing, cuz at the min the holes dont look natural tears, alsot he edges

Body is looking good, one of best hulks in here. But pose seems bit boring, without life, especially face. Also as mentioned before, you should work more on pants, just grab some photo ref, and if you make them realistic they should help quite a bit, cos small things like this makes your charecter pop.
Looks good, and Keown definitely had the best hulk, and still partial to the grey hulk and his awesome haircut.
thanks jose. yeah, i can see what you mean. he is a bit stiff. the pants are just a blocked out form at the moment… but ill have them looking perfect before i post. i agree that the holes seem wierd. i just wanted an idea of where they were going to go. but ill detail them out, get them looking really torn and tattered.

thanks cloud… yeah, Keown is just amazing. i think most every hulk ive seen on here started from inspiration from one of his drawings. Its near impossible not to see his art and think, “Damn. I want to make that” haha… i used to think doing a hulk was so cliche… then i saw Keowns work and now im part of the cliche. what ya gonna do? inspiration is inspiration.
i hate that my old (bad) work is still attached to my portfolio. this was 10 years ago. it shouldnt be associated with my new work which is miles above what it was then. would love to be able to delete it. its not doing anybody an favors. not artists. not employers. not me. not you. why why why cant i take it down? haha. oh well. it is what it is.
