Huh? the Move brush only gives me 3 circles?

Hi there, this is my first post and i am relatively new to zbrush, I am following a Gnomon DVD where the nice man on the video starts moving the geometery of his mesh.

However when i change the brush from Draw to Move and click on the mesh I only get three circles that allow me to skew the whole mesh but not move individual sections of geometery.

How do i get to move these sections of geometery within the mesh?

That’s because you’re clicking Transform>Move rather than Brush>Move.

In other words, you’re activating TransPose (a completely different ZBrush feature) rather than the Move brush.

Go into Edit>Draw mode rather than Edit>Move. Then look in your brush palate and use THAT move brush. Play with the focal shift to get the desired results. The other is a transforming and posing function. Draw mode is how you sculpt. Move, Scale, and Rotate are completely other functions, or modes.

thanks guys i got it

anyone care to help tell me how to change this?
Trying to learn ZBrush an I cant get the transpose circles off to Brush move

To move geometry and not sculpt geometry you have to change to the move brush under the Brush Palette located in the tool bar along the top of the interface
