Hue and Saturation sliders in Spotlight aren't working. User error or bug?

Hi Guys,

I’m using spotlight and I can’t figure out what is going on. Sometimes I can use the hue and saturation adjustments, other times there is no orange dial that appears when using them. I looked in the documentation but didn’t see anything that may turn that feature on or off.

If I mess around with the dial enough I can get it to come back but I’m trying to figure out if this is a bug or if I am hitting something.

I find the best way is to:

  1. Click the selection so that it has an orange outer bar showing it is selected. (Not necessary if it is already selected.)
  2. Click+drag on the icon to change the value.

Thank you for the reply. I’m starting to think this is a bug.

When this issue happens I don’t get the small orange outer bar like I do when it is working and dragging on the icon doesn’t do anything :confused:

Sadly it happens really frequently. I’ll be using spotlight fine and then as soon as I start making adjustments in it I get this weird issue.
