I’m trying to render a turntable movie, with the base of the model in a central position. However the camera/model keeps shifting off center and back. I’ve got HRecenter at 100, but that doesn’t seem to make a difference. I want to keep the subtools in a central position for the duration of the movie. What’s the trick to fixing this?
Are you using the Turntable feature? I think the HRecenter slider is for when you’re recording Undo History.
The Turntable works OK for me. If you’re model is off-center then this little plugin will help:

My monitor and I was in close defenestration negatiations, but that fixed it, Marcus! Handly little plugin to have!
At a guess: I take it that plugin iterates over all the sub-tools and re-centers one in turn?
Cheers.
I’m very glad that your monitor wasn’t defenestrated!
The plugin works by using a little quirk I discovered whereby if all subtools are set to ‘0’ (or any other value) the subtools’ relative positions are maintained. It only works through zscript, so presumably is intended behaviour.
