How to work only on one side of an object that has volume?

Hello,

When I’m working on an object that has volume (like a sphere), when I’m using these brushes to push a part of object, it pulls the other side of object. How can I avoid it? I don’t want to define masks everytime I rotate the object (by doing so the mask covers what is behind so that part is not affected). I guess it is a very basic question that I can’t remember the solution… sorry for that.

Thanks,
Sepehr

Hi Sepehr,

You can deactivate symmetry in the transform pallete or if you use projection master turn of double sided.

Thanks. It is not the symmetry option that is causing the problem. It was turned off. I have this sculpture that I’m working on and when I work on face, the back of head is affected too and is really annoying. Any ideas?

Tnx
